GSA's Annual Scientific Meeting brings together more than 3,500 of the brightest minds in the field of aging. This meeting is the premier gathering of gerontologists from both the United States and around the world. They participate in over 500 scientific sessions including symposia, paper, and poster presentations.

• The Exhibit Hall features over 100 exhibitors from a variety of organizations including publishers, academic institutions, government agencies, and pharmaceutical companies.
• GSA offers the opportunity for presenters to receive a number of prestigious academic awards including the Donald P. Kent Award, the Robert W. Kleemier Award, and the Maxwell A. Pollack Award.
